IN PROCESS - STUDIO ONE11

Locality is a vital component to every output from Hunter Wolff Studio. Wherever possible, materials are sourced locally within the United States and a majority of the fabrics used in Timeless are grown and milled domestically. Imported fabrics are sourced through a small-batch, family-run, American fabric retailer specializing in 100% Organic Cotton fabrics. A similar approach was taken to manufacturing and labor.

When deciding to produce the collection at scale, the aim was to work with local artisans that care deeply about craft and quality and share the same vision that I have for clothing. I feel so fortunate to have a close relationship with Marcel Consiglio and Shannon Koès of Studio ONE11, who are masters at pattern making and garment construction.

Without their guidance and mentorship the realization Timeless would not have been possible and I’m proud to partner with Studio ONE11 to exhibit Timeless with the highest level of craftsmanship available in New York City.

Our relationship has spanned nearly a decade, 9 years. Over that time, our relationship has taken multiple forms and we’ve served different roles supporting each others’ practices. But what remained consistent was a profound mutual respect between us that made the decision to work together seamless.

Marcel and Shannon run their production studio on the border of Bed-Stuy and Bushwick, taking a romantic, residential duplex and transforming it into a creative space filled with plants, machines, fabrics, samples, and their cats. Every object has a story and carries significant weight as factors that have contributed to their journey as partners and artisans. Everything is valuable. Everything matters.

The 2025 collection - Timeless - was made in partnership with Studio ONE11 in the pursuit of craft, quality, and a relationship - seeking new ways of making and redefining the standards of American labor in the garment industry.
